Today we visited the LDS Church schools of Pesega, and Sauniatu. This is the day after Mother's Day which means in Samoa that it is a holiday off from school. We did get a few children come in to get screened but it wasn't the turnout that we were hoping for. I did run into one of my old mission buddies Gator Hunter from Arizona who was in Samoa to show his family around the mission. Sauniatu was awesome for me because it was again me visiting one of my areas and seeing people I thought I would never see again. Sauniatu was dedicated by President David O. McKay when he was an apostle, as a place of refuge and a heaven on earth. It was here that his famous saying, "as ere thou art, act well thy part," came about. We went down and saw the beautiful waterfall and of course it was raining again. Later on we went to the village of Lotofaga in the backside of Upolu to go swim in the famous Tosua pool, it is an ocean trench that many people around the world come to Samoa to see and swim in.
